Most therapists are working with half the picture
Hormones influence your clients' mental health at every stage of reproductive life. Across the menstrual cycle, through perimenopause, and into menopause, they shape mood, anxiety, cognition, and emotional experience in ways most training has never addressed. Without a clinical framework for this, you're working with an incomplete picture.
Close the gap your training left open
Build the clinical framework to work with hormonal mental health across the menstrual cycle, perimenopause, and menopause, with the accuracy your clients deserve.
Stop missing the hormonal picture
Women often arrive in the therapy room with mood, anxiety, or emotional dysregulation that's intrinsically connected to their hormones. Nobody asks. Nobody draws the connection. We can do better.
Be the practitioner who makes the connection
Many women spend years in therapy without anyone connecting their emotional experience to their hormones. This training means you'll be the one who does.

About
Dr Helena Tucker
I'm an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist specialising in hormonal mental health, and the founder of the CYCLES Training Institute.

You almost certainly have clients right now where hormones are part of the picture. PMS, PMDD, PME, perimenopausal mood shifts, cyclical anxiety or depression. And you almost certainly qualified without anyone teaching you how to identify or work with any of it.
That was my experience too. Years into practice, I recognised the hormonal pattern in my own life. Not because my training had equipped me to see it. Because I stumbled across it.
And once I did, I realised I had never once asked my clients about this. If I hadn't asked, I must have been missing so much, in my assessments, my formulations, my interventions.
So I made it my focus. I trained, I researched, and I spent years co-developing a framework alongside over 250 people living with PMDD and PME, in partnership with the International Association for Premenstrual Disorders. The training I needed did not exist. CYCLES is what we built.
